Advices and directions for vehicles drivers
* Give the way to the following vehicles( ambulance –extinguisher-police) for facilitate their duties by using the right side of the road or stop if the situation demand that, and through doing this you will contribute in saving people lives.

It should be noted here the important of using phosphorous triangle behind your breaking down vehicle and try drag it away of the road as soon as possible.

Dear driver

Basic Rules of Safety Passing
* The passing must be from the left side except condition of the preceding vehicle that intends to turn from the left side.
* Do not pass the preceding vehicle while it trays to pass other cars in front of it, therefore, you have to wait while this operation end and then you can set up passing safely.
* Passing is possible when the road was almost straight and there isn't any turning curved roads that prevent plain vision.
* You must use signal of passing preceding vehicle at daytimes and using the light signals that indicate direction movement at night.

* Do not approach bus or ride or step down while it being moving.
* Do not stand inside the bus, because standing will exposed you to fall and pain.
* Do not bring parts of your body outside bus window, you might be dropped or hit by other vehicles and do not throw any things that affect others outside the bus.
* Do not stand or lean on a bus door handle during bus movement.
* Give help to handicapped, children, and old people inside bus.
* Do not get down from the front door and do not cross in front of the bus in the way that hinders the bus driver vision.
* For the bus drivers, you have to stop in safety places away of turning roads, intersections; and traffic light. You are not allowed to drop the rider in these places especially in highways or randomly stopping.

Dear Driver
* You must wear protective helmet and tide it properly before set up driving; you are also have to wear the convenient uniform that helps you in easy, and safety driving.
* Be ware of overmuch speed and be away of traffic jam.
* Keep driving on the right side of the road and avoid competitive driving to pass other vehicles.
* Be ware of sudden stop, and don’t use hand break at once.
* Be ware of what facing you in the road.
* Provide your motorcycle front screen that protects you from air and dusts.
* Do not touch any close vehicle to you, because this action will head to dangers.
* Do not practice any air sports aerobatics actions that are more dangerous. You have to put in your consideration that motorcycles are mainly found for transporting not amusement purposes in the public roads.

Why Safety Belt

There are many objectors when we tray to implement on of the easest paragraph of traffic law. They turn to be upsent for a great deal, some of them need us not to organize our life ,conducts and behaviour according to rightful fandamental principles.

So when we want to activate the paragraph that concerning to safety belt. Some of those objectors say :”It is not the time to applay or to do it” .  we ask them in the sametime .”Is the keeping of driver safty has limitation with the time?”, and what the available time in their point of view to do it?..So how long it takes the time to do so.?..and for which time the traffic of police general directorate still kept silent tawords this phenomenon ?..that caused many dadely accidents resulting from un wear safty belt. Let us ask them the same question now it is the time covenent  to do our job according to Iraqi Traffic law. Thus we call upon our drivers to respect and work with the culture of law according to the traffic law No. 86 for 2004 ,paragraph D . 

Finally , we call upon our drivers to not reduce the safety belt dangers,and for all above mentioned is their any one who call for and repeat “why Safety Belt”

There are many drivers asking us about the amount of penalty that imposed by our directorate for those who use the noisy alarm sound in their vehicles. Here we must to indicate that the purpose of penalty is not our goal but just to prevent those who interesting in harming, disturbing other people by using animals and other earsplitting sounds thinking they will become very happy when they see their reaction on the sick people in hospital and near school of boys and children or people who live near main streets. Some of them used these alarm notes just to show other people he is interested person by having such prohibited device.

   In current days we captured many cases of this phenomenon which our Iraqi traffic law No.86 for 2004, apendex A, has been putted penalties for violators and using such devices makes their vehicles as emergency vehicles and this contrary with ITP laws.

So, for all above reason we call upon all our dear drivers to be a way of this uncivilized habits which it not applicable with Iraqi culture.  Remember dear driver we have no benefit to arrest your car or you, in addition to that the money of penalty will go to the state financial not to traffic. Therefore, as we said the main purpose of penalty to prevent you to repeat violations no more no less. It`s affect your family and you at the sometime when the vehicle is the main means of your living life.

Our question now for which period we will keep silent towards this phenomenon away of penalties? and what will happen in the streets? .therefore we call upon our traffic patrols to take a firm action against violators and we call our drivers to be a more cooperative.

   Identified Phenomenon

        While you take a short trip moving in Baghdad city` streets you will find unfortunately the official front building and it`s wall covered by boosters, scripts as propaganda means for their conceptions or slogans. This uncivilized way wasn`t exist in the past time and I hope people must know this misunderstanding of freedom conception. This practicing is prohibited legally not for we are against freedom but it represents abusing for public taste and deformity of Baghdad city beauty.
This phenomenon has taken it way to reach the traffic signs and traffic of police caravans. Some of them used to put boosters and write on the traffic signs ….So how can easy for road users to identify the nature of road sign which represent as map guide for road users. Such signs is contributed in preventing car accidents by telling them the information about road dangers. The violators have to think about the visitors, tourists Who depend largely on these signs. Therefore, we call upon the official directories and government sides to take their responsibility to panelize the violators according to articles (489,492) from Iraqi law No.111 for 1969 (modified).
Hoping all Iraqis` cooperation to keep the beauty of Baghdad and left the bad conductings.
