Advices and directions for vehicles drivers

Basic Rules of Safety Passing
* The passing must be from the left side except condition of the preceding vehicle that intends to turn from the left side.
* Do not pass the preceding vehicle while it trays to pass other cars in front of it, therefore, you have to wait while this operation end and then you can set up passing safely.
* Passing is possible when the road was almost straight and there isn't any turning curved roads that prevent plain vision.

* Do not approach bus or ride or step down while it being moving.

* Do not bring parts of your body outside bus window, you might be dropped or hit by other vehicles and do not throw any things that affect others outside the bus.
* Do not stand or lean on a bus door handle during bus movement.
* Give help to handicapped, children, and old people inside bus.
* Do not get down from the front door and do not cross in front of the bus in the way that hinders the bus driver vision.
* For the bus drivers, you have to stop in safety places away of turning roads, intersections; and traffic light. You are not allowed to drop the rider in these places especially in highways or randomly stopping.

Dear Driver
* You must wear protective helmet and tide it properly before set up driving; you are also have to wear the convenient uniform that helps you in easy, and safety driving.
* Be ware of overmuch speed and be away of traffic jam.
* Keep driving on the right side of the road and avoid competitive driving to pass other vehicles.
* Be ware of sudden stop, and don’t use hand break at once.
* Be ware of what facing you in the road.
* Provide your motorcycle front screen that protects you from air and dusts.
* Do not touch any close vehicle to you, because this action will head to dangers.

Act No.(5) For 2008

       Issued by ministry of interior / traffic of police general directorate For the public interests and for organizing traffic flow to reduce traffic accidents in city of Muciel and appending to the section 34 paragraph 2 from traffic law No. 86 for 2004 .

We issued the following act :

1.     Prohibition the use of big buses which have capacity of 14 riders and vehicle of load (Lories) which carry (4 Ton) and more in the following street to the city of Muciel

A.    Ninavah Area / right side

B.    Alkornish street / right side

C.   Center of Bab Altub area

2- violators will be penalized with penalty cost ( 30000) ID according to the article (27) paragraph (h) from appendix (A) from traffic law

3- this act will implement from the date 15/5/2008

Act No.(4) For 2008

      Issued by ministry of interior / Traffic of police general directorate For the purpose of effective contribution in implementation of law plan imposing in Ninavah province true false) and applying to traffic law No. 86 for 2004 and it’s instruction and articles which issued according to it with making Muciel street ideal in traffic flow and well organized according to the above plan of impose law.

Appending the section 34 of paragraph 2 from traffic law we issued the following act :

1.     Prohibition moving any vehicles without of registered tags or unclear feature

2.     Prohibition of any vehicles which it holder has not any document prove it entrance to Iraq in legal way and other unregistered vehicles which it holder  has legal document that prove it entrance in legal way

3.     Prohibition the use of fabric or metal curtain on vehicles window or use of colored screen

4.     Prohibition the use of any vehicle which has right steering

5.     Prohibition moving any vehicle which has not any condition of safety and secure

6.     Violators will penalized arresting the vehicle for 10 days with penalty estimated cost 30000 ID according to article 27 paragraph (H) from appendix A of traffic law and transferring other unregistered vehicle to the customs to deal with it according to the law

This act will be implemented from the date 12/5/2008

      In accordance of requirement of public interest, and for the purpose of preventing human lost that occurred by traffic accidents and to achieving the traffic safety and  according to the section (34) form traffic lawNo.86 for 2004 . we issued the following act:

1.  For all drivers of vehicle all over Iraq have to wear the safety belt while their driving .

2  Violators will be penalized in accordance to the article (82) of appendix (A) from traffic law No. 86 for 2004 with penalty cost (15000ID).

3This act will be implemented from 15-4-2008.

1.     For all those drivers in Al Basrah province have to wear safety belt while their driving cars.

2.     Violators will be penalized in accordance to the article (82) of appendix (A) from traffic law No. 86 for 2004 with penalty cost (15000ID).

3.     This act will be implemented from 1-4-2008.

Act No.(1) For 2008

Issued by Ministry of Interior/General Directorate traffic of Police

      In accordance of requirement of public interest, and for the purpose of ending driving cars out of registered tags or illegal or damage tags, or driving car which has right steering or putting fabric ,metal curtain  in front and back screen that preventing a clear vision, also the use of colored windows` screen.  According to the section (34) form traffic lawNo.86 for 2004,appending to act No.5 for 2007 .We issued the following act:

1.     Prohibition the driving any vehicle without registered tags  or illegal or damage tags.

2.     Prohibition the use of vehicle which has right steering.

3.      Prohibition the use of fabric, metal curtain in front, back or the sides of window screen or the use of colored screen.

4.     Violators will be penalized according to section 31 of traffic low No.86 for 2004 with the seize of his vehicle for 10 days and penalty cost 30000 ID .

5.     This act will be implemented from the date of it publicized.
